If you think drones are just for playing, you are in for a surprise. In this video you can watch it drone racing with a Formula E racing car.
As you can see in the above video, the drone named Lumenier QAV210 quadcopter, controlled by the Mahindra racing driver Bruno Senna, races with the Spark-Renault SRT-01E Formula E racing car driven by the American racing car driver Scot Speed. The drone is racing the Formula E racing car at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez circuit in Mexico City. Mahindra Racing and FIA Formula E released the video Saturday. The video of the drone racing the Formula E cars was made right before the Mexico ePrix that was held on March 12, 2016.
The drone vs Formula E car racing video isn’t an official tournament. It is just a stunt to raise awareness about Formula E car racing and appealed to a younger audience that is tech-savvy.
