Twitter has just added “Moments” tab at the top

For some time Twitter has been taking its Moments feature a bit seriously but now it has gone ahead and added it to the top navigation. Now, along with Home, Notifications and Messages, you can also see Moments.


Right now I cannot see what is the big difference between the trending topics and the moments topics. As a Twitter page for the topic explains that when you visit this tab it tells you what’s happening in the world right now. Subjects like News, Sports, Entertainment, Politics and Fun are immediately revealed to you no matter on which part of the world they are taking place.

Though on my Android phone (HTC Desire 816) I cannot see the Moments tab. I can see Home, Discover and Activity. Above that, on the blue strip I can see icons that represent Replies, DMs, Find People and Search. Maybe the Moments tab will appear on this side of the world after a while.

And now the tab seems to have vanished. This is strange. Just after I took the screenshot, and then when I refreshed the page, the Moments tab vanished. Now I see this:


Maybe the change hasn’t propagated properly yet.
