Emojis, it seems, is taking the world by storm. If you have been using your mobile phone for some time now, it is rarest of the rare chance that you haven’t used an emoji yet. Emojis are those tiny graphic images that you insert in your messages to convey cute and not so cute emotions like smilies, thumbs ups, wondering, lovey-dovey eyes, and so on. In case you have been living in a cave, emojis are these:

Mobile phones are being promoted on the strength of what sort of emojis they can support. Entire apps and add-ons are available that allow you to use rare and exclusive emojis. In San Francisco, this weekend, they are having an Emojicon – it’s like the Comicon, but instead of crazy fans of Comics, in the Emojicon you get to bump into crazy fans of emojis. Yes, all sorts of things happen in this world.

In fact, there are some keyboards that don’t have alphabetical keys. You just use emojis to communicate with each other. Soon, we’re going to have a language named Emoji. There will be some people who will only understand Emoji and you will need to be well versed with the various emojis that represent various emotions and states of being. Just as we try to decipher the cave paintings left by the ancient cave men and women, after centuries, if we don’t leave the planet devoid of humanity, humans will try to decipher emojis.
