Now that Samsung has found out why Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphones were catching fire it’s time to move on and release the next phone, Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The successor of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is set to be released somewhere in August 2017. It may even be released, according to some more speculations on Internet, on March 29, 2017.
The Korean electronics company is not going to leave any stone unturned to make sure that the new smartphone makes up for the losses incurred by the previous version. Some experts were even speculating that Samsung may eliminate the entire Note range itself due to the bad rep it has gained after the exploding incidents.
Recently the Samsung Mobile chief D.J. Koh confirmed to the CNET, “I will bring back a better, safer and very innovative Note 8”.
It isn’t confirmed how the market will react but personally I think, outside of tech circles, people aren’t much bothered about the reputation of the previous Samsung Galaxy Note. If the phone looks good, if it comes with awesome features, then it shouldn’t have any problem.
Most of the tech websites are predicting that it’s going to be a bigger phone compared to its contemporaries. Some say it is going to have a 5.7-inch display and some say that it may have a 6.2-inch display, turning into a full phablet phone (a mobile phone and tablet hybrid). Value Walk has reported that Galaxy Note 8 May not come with the expected 4K resolution; it may stick to 2K resolution instead.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 may have its own Siri -like voice assistant
Just like Apple’s Siri and Google’s Voice Assistant, Samsung has been working on its own voice assistant called Bixby. A couple of months ago I wrote about Bixby from Samsung that the company has been working on keeping Galaxy S8 in mind. It is rumoured that Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will come equipped with Bixby which will speak in male voice.
Will Samsung Galaxy Note 8 have a 4K display or a 2K display
Different websites are claiming different specs for the screen resolution. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 may have a 4K display or a 2K display.
