In an unprecedented move, the South Korean electronics company Samsung has decided to recall its latest Galaxy Note 7 smartphones from around the world as its battery is reported to be exploding while charging. Right now the company seems to be “considering” to recall the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphones from around the world, but officially it hasn’t yet been announced. The company has also halted further shipment of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphones as it has been observed that exploding battery is causing some real security issues among its users.
The recall of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphones will have to be coordinated with different carriers that provide the smartphone with their packages, for example Verizon Wireless. Although the instances of the phone battery exploding while charging have occurred in just 0.1% of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphones the company wouldn’t like to take chances and hence it is recalling all the smartphones from around the world.
