While Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has been wreaking havoc around the world by exploding and setting things on fire, this Guardian report says there is a person who claims his iPhone 7 caught fire and destroyed his car. Apple is investigating the probable chance of iPhone 7 burning up due to some fault in the battery.
Surfer Mat Jones in Australia had left his iPhone in the car. When he came back he saw lots of smoke coming out of the car. Nothing was visible inside the car. He had wrapped his iPhone 7 in a pair of pants and inside it the phone melted. Here is a tweet containing the video showing how the iPhone 7 phone set his car on fire.
