In a recent tweet, Samsung Mobile India revealed that it is going to launch its mid-range phones Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7 in India on November 3, just after a week it was launched in China. The listing of Samsung Galaxy On5 accidentally appeared on Flipkart prior to the launch but it was quickly taken down. This was another indication that the product is in the process of being launched in India. Both the Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7 were also briefly listed on Samsung India website.
Samsung Galaxy On5 specs and features
This mid-range smartphone comes with a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) TFT display. It has an Exonys 3475 quad-core processor. It has 8 GB internal storage and out of this you can use 4.3 GB. The microSD slot allows you to expand your storage up to 128 GB. It has 1.5 GB RAM.
Samsung Galaxy On5 has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and 8-megapixel primary camera with LED flash. It’s 2600mAH battery gives you 15 hours of talk time. As is the case with most of the mid-range smartphones, both Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7 come with dual-Sim card slots, 4G support, Wi-Fi 802.1 1 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. Out of the box it is running Android 5.1 Lollipop.

Most of the features of Galaxy On7 are the same as Galaxy On5 with the difference that it has a bigger, 5.5-inch display. Aside from that, it has a 13-megapixel primary camera and a bigger 3000mAH battery.
