iPad Pro not starting after recharging? Try restarting for the time being

iPad Pro becomes unresponsive after charging

Does your iPad Pro remain unresponsive after charging? The big 12.9-inch iPad Pro was launched just a few weeks ago and it’s already facing some problems. Many users have complained that iPad Pro remains non-responsive after charging. The screen suddenly goes black and mostly this problem occurs after charging iPad Pro. The tablet becomes unresponsive and it simply freezes, not responding to any touch. People have been leaving angry messages in different Apple forums.

According to one such user, “At night it was down to 40% so I charged it and went to bed. When I woke up it was ‘dead’. It wouldn’t wake up. I needed to perform a hard reset to get it to come to life. Worked on it for a couple of hours and had to run an errand. Plugged it back in as I was going to need a full charge later that day. Came back to it, the same thing. Dead. I needed to perform a hard reset to get it to turn on.

The problem, according to the feedback available from different users, seems to be software –related, especially iOS 9.1. In iPad Pro, this problem exists both in 32GB and 128GB variants. Why it seems to be an iOS 9.1-related problem is that the problem has also been observed in iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus with iOS 9.1 installed.

Although Apple is working at a fix, this is how it suggests a temporary solution: You need to force-restart your iPad Pro by holding both the sleep/wake and home buttons simultaneously for at least 10 seconds. After some time the Apple logo appears and you can use your tablet again.
