Many online video streaming services these days allow you to save livestreaming videos off-line so that you can watch them later on. You can do it on YouTube and you can also do it on Netflix sometimes. Instagram has also introduced this feature that allows you to save livestreaming videos that you upload using the Stories feature of Instagram.
The videos that you upload on Instagram Stories disappear after 24 hours.
It’s not that you will be able to save live streamed videos of other Instagram users – you will be able to save your own life streamed videos to your camera roll. Later on, you can upload these videos to other social networking and social media websites like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. But you need to know that once you have uploaded the video to other websites, it will no longer be available on the Instagram app.
You will also be able to make changes to the saved video.
Here’s a video from Venture Beat explaining this new feature that allows you to save livestream videos (of your own) on Instagram.
